ALEC BALDWIN DENIES THROWING PUNCH … In Parking Spot Fight

7:11 PM PT — Alec has denied the allegations on Twitter, stating, “Normally, I would not comment on something as egregiously misstated as today’s story. However, the assertion that I punched anyone over a parking spot is false. I wanted to go on the record stating as such.”

1:30 PM PT — Baldwin was just released and said nothing as he left the police station.

12:56 PM PT — Baldwin has been charged with misdemeanor assault and harassment. He was given a desk appearance ticket.Alec Baldwin was arrested in NYC Friday morning … TMZ has learned.

Witnesses tell us … the actor got into an argument with another man over a parking spot near 10th Street and 5th Avenue. Our law enforcement sources tell us Alec had a friend holding the spot for him, but the other man swooped in.

We’re told Baldwin became irate, an argument ensued, and Baldwin punched the man in the jaw. The alleged victim, a 49-year-old male, was taken to the hospital.

One witness tells us Alec yelled “F**k off” during the fight. Cops were called and Alec was arrested. Baldwin lives in the area.

Of course, he openly detests and mocks President Trump while playing him on ‘SNL’ — so, not surprisingly, the Prez weighed in on the arrest. What is shocking is how reserved he was.

Commentary from Our Chief Editor (Robbie’s Rant)

Boy, this ones a double-edged sword.

…At least for me. Because, on one side you’ve got to respect an actor who’s been making movies and television shows for over thirty years and still in the limelight. The odds of that happening are slim to none. No doubt Alec Baldwin is successful and well respected among his peers. On the other hand, from just the news, he comes off as a complete a–hole. But remember, the world is filled with many successful a–holes. So when I read the above story, it came as no surprise to me. (This may be the only thing me and Trump see eye to eye on).

Now the fact that he punched someone in the face for any reason rather than calling the police or simply walking away, (which is what I would’ve done, along with most other normal thinking Americans) that was his choice. He made his bed, he’ll have to lay in it. Most likely, this gets settled outside of court civilly and the other party receives a nice, big check. This is how the game is played. Everybody pays, it’s only a matter of time if you haven’t. And the bigger you are, the more you pay. Example: Stormi Daniels got paid $130,000 dollars, just to keep quiet about sleeping with Donald Trump. (I would’ve slept with him for $50,000 as long as we both wore our feetsie pajamas and I got to hold the clicker.)

So this guy who got punched in the face could easily get a couple of hundred thousand dollars. Number one, Baldwin has it, and number two, he can end up getting a criminal conviction if he doesn’t settle along with his legal bills alone could be as much as $30,000 for doing something as stupid as this.

Remember, rich people have high powered lawyers. And these high powered lawyers get big, high powered fees. Baldwin has been in the news before for attacking the press and other reporters who were following him too closely. All that can be used against him in a trial. So my crystal ball is he pays and it goes away. I think I’m right on this one.
